Whitening Teeth With Dodge Tool Photoshop CS4 Lesson 12

Teeth Whitening Can Make A Difference In Your Life

If your teeth are not as white as they could be, there are options. We now have the tools to help clean and whiten your teeth like never before. No matter your situation, there is an option that will work for you.  With a bit of research, you can find the perfect product.  Find the right one. After all, possessing a white and beautiful white smile is a wonderful way to present confidence.

Here are some things to consider when making your decision:

1.      Tooth whitening is safe. Peroxide based products will not harm your teeth or gums in any way. Though some might feel a bit of sensitivity in the teeth and gums when applying, it is nothing harmful or toxic. In many cases, it is not the product itself that is causing the irritation, but the tray that, when inserted into the mouth, does not fit right. Take care to find the proper fit to avoid this common mistake. If you do feel any irritation, discontinue use for a few days, find the right tools, and try again. If that does not work, consider a tooth whitening toothpaste and gel for sensitive teeth.

2.      At home versus dentist office applications - The choice is up to you whether or not to use an at-home whitening product or to go to the dentist. Either one is fine; one just takes longer than the other. Why choose a dentist? Simply to see dramatic results immediately. While self applies kits used at home take a few weeks, it only take one or two visits to the dentist to see the end product. The choice really depends upon budget, as the at-home kits are definitely cheaper than those professionally applied. Also consider the duration of the whitening product. Normally, the cheaper the method, the less time it will last.

3.      Whitening pens are a cost effective choice. They are simple to apply and produce results within a few weeks. There are no trays, only a small applicator brush. Some feel that this is the best at-home product out of all of them. Whitening toothpastes are another inexpensive way to combine cleaning your teeth with whitening them. For some, this is the perfect choice as there are no applicators or anything of that nature. Most note that teeth do not get as white as with other methods. When using toothpaste like this, take care to note whether your teeth are actually whiter or if they just seem more clean than normal. Sometimes that can be deceiving.

In conclusion, there are many ways to whiten teeth. Some are more holistic, some are faster, and some are less expensive. While all have benefits and drawbacks, it is important to weigh each one when deciding which is best for you.
