Teeth's whitening is very accessible with the many methods now available. What is Orthodontics?
The dentistry specialty that is focused with the treatment and study of improper bites (malocclusions) which may be the result of disproportionate jaw relations, tooth irregularity, or the combination of both is called orthodontics. Orthodontic treatment may concentrate solely on displacement or it can also handle modification and control of facial growth. In the case of modification, the term dentofacial orthopaedics is used. The orthodontic process can be executed for aesthetic reasons for improving the basic appearance of a person's teeth. There are also instances where orthodontics performs reconstruction to the entire face as opposed to just concentrating solely on the teeth.
Some of the methods utilized during a comprehensive orthodontic procedure are the use of metal wires which are inserted in the dental braces (orthodontic brackets) which can be made from aesthetic ceramic material or stainless steel. The brackets interact with the wires in order for the teeth to move to the desired areas. Additional methods include invisalign which takes place with clear plastic aligners and aid you in realigning your teeth without others witnessing how your teeth are being moved. Some additional items used to move the jaw bones and teeth are expansion appliances, headgear, and plates (removable appliances).

Which makes teeth whiter/better results? Laser Whitening or Bleaching?
Hi there, I'm thinking of getting my teeth whitened but want to know which way gets teeth whiter? Laser or Bleaching? I know Laser is more expensive but I've heard the results are better.
Can anyone help me, has anyone had it done?

Laser whitening and bleaching are really the same process. Both require the teeth to be covered with a peroxide solution; in "one hour" or laser whitening the peroxide is much more concentrated. The laser is supposed to cause the peroxide to be more active but several studies suggest that it does nothing more than placebo. After one hour there is whitening but likely not to the degree that you want; so you are then given an at-home whitening kit to complete the process over the following couple of weeks. I assume the bleaching you refer to is the at-home kit that is used for 30 minutes twice a day for about 2 to 3 weeks. This method is often more comfortable (less sensitivity) and less costly. Both methods will usually result in white teeth.
