Hammers Buying Guide
Ball pein hammers are a great tool that can be used for many different purposes. This specific type of hammer is most commonly utilized in order to harden a specific surface, which is called in carpentry and fabricating terms as peening. Ball pein hammers are perfect for such jobs and are quite easy to acquire as they are commonly available in most hardware stores and construction equipment shops.
The name of the ball peen or ball pein hammer is such due to its unique shape. One side of the hammer is a standard flat side while the other side is rounded. There are similar types of hammers, but with chisel or point ends, but the most common really is the ball pein end as it is the most effective when it comes to hardening jobs.
A hand hammer is any type of hammer that is operated using only one hand. It is the counterpart of a sledge hammer, which is a hammer that is operated using both hands and a lot of arm power. Sledge hammers are used for more demolition work, while hand hammers are used for construction. Hand hammers are also usually preferred for work that requires a lot more precision and controlled hammering as opposed to pure powerful beatings.

Can I use a crest sprinbrush with arm and hammer?
I have a crest spinbrush pro whitening toothbrush and just bought an arm and hammer sensitivity toothpaste. If i remember correctly, on the package of the toothbrush it said to not use it with toothpastes that contain baking soda... Im pretty sure all arm and hammers have baking soda... but what will happen if i use it still???
I don't know *exactly* what will happen, but here's what I do know:
The Crest Spinbrush Pro Whitening is designed so that the bristles actually polish away stains as you use it. I'm pretty sure it has a little cup that's similar to the prophy cup (tooth polisher) your hygienist uses, and that it's designed that way to hold more toothpaste against your teeth- and this is how it polishes. I think there are special bristles too that help remove stain as well.
I'd be concerned that using a toothpaste containing baking soda would be overkill. That's a lot of abrasiveness on your teeth- and that you might actually have some issues with sensitivity as a result.
Maybe you should save the baking soda toothpaste for manual brushing and use a nonabrasive paste with your spinbrush.
